Job description:

CNC Machinist (6:30 am- 3:30 pm)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports to Machine Shop Supervisor

Able to setup/operate/program complex (+/-.010 or lower, TP <=.024,) conventional machining jobs - CNC lathe

Perform complex Grind setups

Perform complex setups/operate CNC mills/ lathes

Complex GD&T measurement using calipers, height gage, bore gages etc.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.

Must be capable to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.

Advanced shop math skills
Advanced blueprint reading
Understand Geometric Dimension and Tolerances

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); five+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must own basic inspection equipment (0-6" caliper)
