 POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking experienced Multi-Axis Lathe Machinists to perform setup and operation of Mori Seiki multi-axis lathes. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC machining experience, programming knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work with extremely tight tolerances while maintaining high-quality standards. SCHEDULE • Monday – Friday • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM • Flexible schedule KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Set up and operate Mori Seiki multi-axis lathes and controls. • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation. • Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using G & M codes. • Perform machining operations to tight tolerances, including ±0.0001". • Inspect and verify completed parts for quality and dimensional accuracy. • Complete required production and quality documentation. • Maintain compliance with ISO and AS9100 quality standards. • Identify and troubleshoot machining or equipment issues. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. QUALIFICATIONS / IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES • Technical degree in machining or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum 10 years of machining experience, including multi-axis lathes. • Experience with multi-spindle and multi-turret lathe systems. • Proficiency in GD&T and CNC program editing. • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills. • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
