Job description

Overview
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Forecasting & Demand Planning leads demand, supply, and labor forecasting across the North America supply chain network. This role is responsible for developing and improving forecasting capabilities that support inventory flow, fulfillment execution, capacity planning, and operational efficiency. Acting as a key cross-functional partner across Inventory Management, Supply Chain Operations, Merchandising, Finance, and Omnichannel Fulfillment, this leader translates complex data into actionable plans that support both day-to-day operations and long-term business strategy.

Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Forecasting

  • Lead the development and management of end-to-end demand forecasts using historical trends, statistical modeling, and business inputs
  • Develop short- and long-term supply and capacity plans that balance inventory availability, service levels, and cost objectives
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, perform variance analysis, and implement improvements to forecasting methodologies
  • Build scenario-based planning models to support business agility during demand shifts, supply disruptions, and peak periods

S&OP / Integrated Business Planning

  • Lead the S&OP / Integrated Business Planning process across supply chain, merchandising, inventory, and finance teams
  • Prepare and present forecasts, capacity outlooks, and risk assessments to senior leadership
  • Align operational plans with long-term supply chain and business objectives
  • Incorporate promotional activity, assortment changes, and open-to-buy plans into forecasting assumptions

Labor & Capacity Planning

  • Develop labor and staffing forecasts aligned to inbound, outbound, and fulfillment volume projections
  • Partner with operations and HR teams to support workforce planning and capacity alignment
  • Identify capacity constraints and support planning for future operational investments

Cross-Functional Strategy & Communication

  • Serve as a key partner across Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, and Fulfillment teams
  • Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations
  • Provide scenario analysis, risk assessments, and trade-off recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner closely with receipt planning and fulfillment teams to align demand signals with operational execution

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners and analysts
  • Build analytical capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Establish performance expectations and support career development across the team
  • Champion advanced forecasting tools, planning methodologies, and data visualization best practices

Process Improvement & Analytics

  • Continuously improve forecasting methodologies, planning processes, and analytical tools
  • Leverage advanced analytics and statistical modeling to improve forecast accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Partner with Technology teams to enhance planning systems and data infrastructure

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Analytics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain analytics
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience managing analytical or planning teams
  • Strong expertise in statistical forecasting, demand planning, and S&OP / Integrated Business Planning processes
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, including modeling and data analysis
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate complex insights clearly across all organizational levels

Preferred

  • Experience with demand planning platforms such as Blue Yonder, o9, Oracle Demantra, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with omnichannel fulfillment and downstream supply chain operations
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA or Masterโ€™s in Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field)
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
