We pride ourselves in having the best training so no matter your experience, we can help you! We are looking for the Best Line Cook in the city! Blue Flame manages three hotels on the Northeast side of Fort Wayne: the Hampton Inn Dupont and the Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites (a dual property location).
As a Line Cook at the hotel, your primary functions will be to stock stations with the necessary supplies, prepare food for service, keep your station clean, cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, and ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion, among others. Although this is a PM position, you may also be asked to assist with the Breakfast area, including maintaining and ordering inventory necessary to operate a quality breakfast bar, and monitoring and maintaining expenses. You will also maintain guest relations and guest recovery in case a guest complains about their stay. It is required that you are ServSafe certified; if you are not already, we will help you get certified. It is preferred that you have kitchen/food service and preparation experience, effective communication skills, can maintain a positive and professional demeanor, and are a team player. We are looking for someone with flexible availability to work evening shifts.
