Description

Cavalier Distributing is looking for a passionate and self-starting individual to join our Operations team as a Warehouse Associate at our Blue Ash facility. As one of the few U.S. distributors focused exclusively on specialty imports and American craft beers, we are proud to be Ohio's premier craft beverage distributor.


This is a first-shift position, working Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. In this role, you will assist with daily warehouse operations, receive product, manage inventory, and occasionally drive to deliver our portfolio to enthusiasts across the city.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the ongoing physical inventory of warehouse items and monitor inventory to maintain adequate supply of items.
  • Receive, log and unload incoming freight shipments. Verifies freight against invoice and purchase order.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift, pallet jack and man lift.
  • Effectively and efficiently handle truck loading and receiving.
  • Utilize computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners.
  • Stack, wrap, and label pallets before staging for loading.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the picking process.
  • Assist with the cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Ability to multitask in a customer focused, fast paced environment.
  • Operating vehicles safely and adhering to all DOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Efficiently load, unload, and maneuver product (handling weights generally between 30 and 165 pounds).
  • Provide exceptional customer relations that reflect our professional standards.


Requirements

  • A valid, unexpired driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • A thorough understanding of traffic laws and a commitment to defensive driving.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Basic numerical skills for order and delivery paperwork.
  • Willingness to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
