Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas is recruiting a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon for a position with Northwest Physicians Group. Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region
  • Shared call with partners
  • Assess, diagnose, treat and conditions and diseases of the musculoskeletal system utilizing surgical and non-surgical approaches
  • Perform general and subspecialty orthopedic procedures

Requirements:

  • BC/BE Orthopaedic Surgery required
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency required
  • Fellowship training in AR / Proficiency in total joints preferred
  • Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain
  • Clean professional background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate bedside manner
