Purchasing Data Entry Clerk

Emerald Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Data Entry Clerk to support our Purchasing team by accurately entering, maintaining, and updating purchasing data. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the purchase of MRO items and reorder points
  • Assists buyers with order entry, rescheduling, and expediting requests
  • Tracks orders to ensure timely delivery and follows up as needed to confirm changes
  • Prepares reports for review and may take action based on department need
  • May assist with quoting and order entry of quick turn orders
  • Interfaces with Emerald Technologies Medford's supply base daily. This activity may be performed via email, phone, or in person
  • Other duties as requested and required

Qualifications:
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook required. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, required. Able to work effectively with others required. Excellent math skills.
  • Interfaces with all functional departments within Emerald Technologies. Must possess outstanding communication skills both verbal and written. Occasionally meets with vendors, including in-person meetings, Teams calls, and location visits.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective communication skills and ability to manage time well. Must be a team player and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
