Billing Analyst 1

As a Billing Analyst 1 with BCBSWY, you are critical to ensuring that all of our members and clients receive high quality customer service. This could include providing up-to-date and accurate invoices, verifying that payments are applied correctly and answering any billing questions that may arise.

Accountabilities include meeting performance measures, ensuring the billing processes are accurate and timely, reviewing accounts and resolving any discrepancies, and responding to questions or inquiries that come from other departments.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong time management and prioritization capabilities, the ability to handle phone contact with people who may be experiencing emotional situations and be comfortable accessing and utilizing multiple systems to respond and research member inquiries.

Minimum qualifications include an earned High School diploma or equivalent; Six months or more of applicable work experience, typically in accounting, billing, medical office or health care. Prior experience with accessing multiple database systems is helpful. As a new Billing Analyst I, you will be provided with on-the-job training on our systems, products, services, and providing best-in-class customer service skills from our skilled team.

Our positions are all based in Wyoming. Executive level employees are required to reside full-time in Wyoming.
