What’s the Role?

At Bloomberg Finance we are committed to providing world-class support to our business partners by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership.

The SAP BTP and ABAP Developer is responsible for the successful development and maintenance of applications in SAP Business Technology Platform and supporting existing ABAP applications.

We'll trust you to:

· Develop and maintain applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

· Build custom applications and extensions using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) on BTP

· Create and maintain ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces within S/4HANA and SAP BW

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

· Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and coding standards.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP environments.

You’ll need to have:

· Hands-on project implementation experience with SAP BTP.

· Minimum experience of 2 projects on SAP BTP.

· Minimum 7-8 years of SAP ABAP experience.

· Experience migrating legacy custom ABAP applications to SAP BTP using SAP CAP/RAP.

· Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technology field.

We'd love to see:

· Experience with SAP BDC (Datasphere), SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA.

· Domain Knowledge in Finance, Supply Chain and HR.

· Adherence to IT/SAP project methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA.

Salary Range = 170,000 - 190,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
