Job description

Joining our Lake Regional Health System team means working alongside our knowledgeable, dedicated team of people who care for our patients and one another.

Lake Regional Health System is seeking a professional, detail-orientated Phlebotomist who can provide excellent care to our community.

What Are We Looking For?

An individual who is skilled at assisting customers in a courteous and helpful manner, answering phones, taking messages, giving reports, providing general information, maintaining confidentiality, promoting a positive attitude, and assisting anywhere in the laboratory as needed. Our Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting and obtaining specimens, while assuring the integrity of the specimen, preparing the specimen for testing, referring the specimen to reference laboratories, and assisting technologists with moderately complex testing. This position handles blood and blood products throughout the hospital. Previous blood draw experience is highly desired. Education requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role. 

An annual influenza vaccination is required.
