Job description

Job Title: RN BMT
City: Columbus
State: OH
Job Type: Travel

Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC)
Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? Yes
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shifts: Nights
Shift Details: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekly Schedule: 36 Hours
Certifications/Licences:
  • ACLS*, BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
Mandatory Experience:
  • Experience: Must have MS and inpatient hematology oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Chemo certification is required.
  • Certifications Required:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
  • Preferred Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • COMPUTERIZED CHARTING: EPIC experience required
  • Skills Required:
    • MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
    • Telemetry monitoring
    • Interpretation of dysrhythmias
    • Use of Rapid Response Teams
    • Feeding tube care and management
    • Blood product administration
    • Central line blood draw
    • Peripheral line care/management
    • PICC line management
    • Nasal cannula administration
    • Central line sterile dressing changes
    • Chemotherapy administration
