Job Summary

The Senior Brand Manager is a strategic individual contributor responsible for shaping and advancing North American brand identity through data-driven marketing and communication initiatives for up to 6 or more diverse brands. The Senior Brand Manager partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop, execute, and optimize integrated brand strategies across the North American territory. The Senior Brand Manager combines deep analytical capability with creative leadership to enhance brand positioning, customer engagement, and market impact.

 

Essential Job Functions *

  • Lead development and execution of comprehensive brand and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives for up to 6 or more diverse brands.
  • Translate brand strategy into clear, actionable briefs for internal external teams, ensuring alignment on objectives, audience, and deliverables.
  • Provide direct creative direction and feedback to ensure all outputs meet brand standards and strategic intent.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform brand positioning and growth opportunities.
  • Design and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
  • Review and approve high-impact content including messaging frameworks, campaigns, blog posts, and thought leadership materials.
  • Provide strategic guidance on creative direction, media planning, and own brand standards.
  • Manage brand consistency across all touchpoints including social media, digital platforms, and external communications.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness using data analytics and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate cross functionally on brand budgets, including forecasting and ROI analysis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and external partners to expand brand reach.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, product, leadership) to align brand strategy with business priorities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on brand strategy, advising senior leadership on brand positioning decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence outcomes without direct people management responsibility.
  • Mentor junior marketing team members and provide informal coaching and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with brand governance, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or related) preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in brand management, marketing strategy, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex marketing initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
