The Cook plays a vital role in the daily operation of the school and serves as a valued partner to families and the parish community by promoting healthy choices and supporting the nutritional needs of all students.
The duties of the Cook include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Preparing balanced daily meals to ensure proper nutrition
  • Provide high standards of health and safety in all food service facilities and operations
  • Accommodate identified dietary needs of students
  • Ensure all activities comply with school, diocesan, state, and federal guidelines
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere and strong working relationships with students, families, school personnel, and volunteers
  • Serve students during the lunch periods
  • Daily cleaning of the cafeteria and kitchen areas
  • Assist the Food Service Director with several special events

8AM - 2PM during the school year
