Blessed Soul Healthcare Center, located in the vibrant city of Columbus, Georgia, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team. We utilize advanced electronic health record systems, specifically the EPIC EMR, to ensure streamlined documentation and patient care processes. • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather medical histories, ensuring accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment planning.

• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement integrated care plans for various age groups.

• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and create individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

• Administer vaccines and medications, as well as educate patients on essential preventative health measures and lifestyle adjustments.

• Monitor chronic health conditions, providing follow-up care and coordinating referrals to specialists when necessary.

• Accurately document all patient encounters using the EPIC EMR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and keep abreast of the latest advancements in medical practices to enhance service delivery.

• Prioritize preventive care approaches to help patients achieve optimal health and well-being.

• Deliver patient-centered care, emphasizing compassion and understanding while fostering strong patient-provider relationships.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Our center serves a diverse population, providing care to individuals ranging from infancy to elderhood. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in addressing the healthcare needs of this broad spectrum of patients, emphasizing preventive care to ensure early detection and management of health issues. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families will be essential in promoting health literacy and adherence to treatment plans.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

• Active Physician Assistant (PA) certification and state licensure.

• At least two years of experience as a Physician Assistant.

• Strong foundational knowledge in general family medicine.

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Experience with EPIC EMR systems or other electronic health record platforms.

• Familiarity with managing chronic health conditions and preventive care strategies.

• Prior experience in a family practice or surgical setting is highly regarded.
