Job description

AMSOIL is now hiring for a Blender at our manufacturing plant located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! In this role, you will mix raw materials using blending equipment to create finished products to meet production standards and goals. The blending position schedule is 1st shift (Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm).
Core Responsibilities:
  • Follow formulations and processing procedures as required by production demand
  • Operate and clean all manufacturing equipment, tanks, mixers, scales, meters, pumps, and vessels as needed
  • Use quality control guidelines to ensure raw material usage on each batch is added correctly and with correct measurement
  • Responsible for loading and offloading railcars and tankers as required
  • Maintain a safe working environment, always utilizing appropriate safety equipment and following company policies
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members, communicating clearly on quality issues, safety concerns, and production handoffs to ensure a seamless and compliant operation

Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate reliability and maintain good attendance to ensure smooth production operations
  • Able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions
  • Must have math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to work inside and outside with exposure to temperature variations
  • Willing to operate a forklift (training received on the job)
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and capable of self-direction
  • Must have high attention to detail and desire to produce quality work
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Willing to cross-train to better fulfill production needs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and repetitively lift (40 pounds)
  • Available 40 hours/week, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime
  • Flexible to come in early or stay late due to production needs

Preferred Requirements:
  • Chemical, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical production experience
  • Experience operating a forklift
