Job description

PADNOS is a full-service recycling company handling paper, plastic, metals and electronic recycling. We tailor recycling programs for consumer and industrial clients throughout the United States. Position Summary
Our Machine Operators are responsible for safely loading, transferring, blending, and packaging materials in accordance with work orders and standard operating procedures. The role includes monitoring silo operations, performing quality inspections, documenting process checks, and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure efficient production flow and prevent material contamination. Team members are also responsible for inspecting transfer equipment, monitoring transfer pressures and vacuum levels, and supporting safe and reliable operation of all material handling systems.
Schedule
  • Monday - Thursday, Weekends as needed.
  • 7:00pm - 7:00am

Responsibilities
  • Load, transfer, and package blend silo operations in accordance with work orders, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain quality inspections and prevent cross contamination of materials.
  • Conduct and document required process checks, quality verifications, and equipment inspections at established intervals.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all materials loaded, transferred, blended, and consumed.
  • Perform material transfers between silos, storage locations, production equipment, and bulk tankers while following established procedures.
  • Verify proper silo loading and unloading pressures, vacuum levels, and transfer parameters throughout each transfer process.
  • Conduct and document required process checks, quality verifications, and equipment inspections at established intervals.
  • Inspect transfer hoses, piping, filters, angel hair catchers, pumps, blowers, and associated equipment for proper operation.

Qualifications
  • Hilo experience required
  • Accuracy in operation and attention to detail
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to monitor machine systems
  • Six months' operating small equipment experience preferred (loader, forklift, scissor lift)
  • Equipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledge (conveyors, pulleys, etc)
