Company Description
Pinnacle Oil Inc. is a fully integrated, independent lubricant manufacturer and packager located in the Park 100 area on the NW side of Indianapolis, Indiana. We are currently seeking a blender. Blenders will weigh and/or meter raw materials in tanks to blend automotive & industrial bulk lubricants.
Starting hourly wages are $16 - $18, dependent on experience. We also offer vacation time & a very attractive benefit package for our Team Members. We also offer $1 per hour night bonus!
Job Description
The Blending operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment within their assigned area while adhering to all Customer, internal & regulatory policies and procedures. All Blenders are expected to follow Blending Supervisor and Lead instructions and work as a team with all team members.
We currently have openings on second shift. The hours will be 4pm - 1:30am Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday.
WORK PERFORMED
  • Following blend sheet instructions
  • Weighing and pumping drums into designated tanks
  • Connecting rail cars and metering in components into designated tanks
  • Mixing tanks
  • Taking tank and rail car samples to QC lab for approval
  • Completing Blend Sheets with complete blend information
  • Complete daily, weekly, and/or monthly checks
  • Keeping area clean and safe

WORKING CONDITIONS
Walking, Standing, Lifting, Climbing, Pulling, Pushing, Sitting, Dirt, Heat, Cold, Fumes, Noise, Vibration, Oil, and Dust. The Blending Area is not climate controlled and requires working outdoors.
Qualifications
  • Prior chemical mixing or blending experience preferred BUT willing to train!
  • Mathematical skills with understanding of weight and measurement conversion
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

Consideration will be given to candidates with no experience who are able to meet working condition criteria, general math aptitude, and have ability to comprehend and learn quickly.
