Job description

Position Title:  
Production Worker

Pay Rate: 

Starting Rate - $22.63/hr

After 90 Day Probation - Hourly rate increases between $23.67/hr up to $27.42/hr

The Job You Will Perform: 
We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. As a Production Worker in any position, we will train you on all aspects of your job and you can look forward to opportunities for advancement in your future.

JOB DUTIES:

Primary duties of a Production Worker in any position include, but are not limited to:

  • Following all safety rules and practices, including the lockout/tagout program on each piece of machinery they are qualified to operate
  • Operating production machinery
  • Operating touch screen controls to monitor the production process, and interfacing with a computer to enter data into various software platforms (such as work orders or other plant metrics)
  • Reading factory work orders, product spec sheets, and other documents to learn customer requirements
  • Consistent quality and count inspection of a product, which includes identifying and segregating nonconforming (reject/scrap) products and materials, and documenting and reporting all quality assurance checks as instructed
  • Safety operating a forklift to load/unload production lines, to transport and stage materials as needed (pallets, endclosures, PVA), or to assist with shipping as needed
  • Accurately completing time sheets reports, lists, and other records
  • Regularly perform scheduled operator preventative maintenance and general housekeeping responsibilities

The Skills You Will Bring: 
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications: 

  • High school degree or GED (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Prior experience in the corrugated manufacturing industry or food manufacturing industry highly preferred
  • Stable work history and good attendance record

  • The ability to work with others in a team environment with minimal supervision
