Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Daytime Schedule

At Blackburn’s Physicians Pharmacy, Inc., our Delivery Technicians play an essential role in helping patients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

We are seeking a dependable, service-minded Delivery Technician to join our Rochester team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, hands-on work, helping people, and solving practical problems throughout the day.

You will deliver, set up, maintain, and retrieve durable medical equipment while providing patients and caregivers with clear instructions and respectful, compassionate service.

What You’ll Do
  • Load, secure, transport, and deliver medical equipment and supplies to patient homes and healthcare facilities.
  • Set up equipment and confirm that it is clean, safe, and functioning properly.
  • Explain basic equipment operation, care, and maintenance to patients and caregivers.
  • Complete home safety assessments and required delivery documentation.
  • Obtain signatures, collect applicable copayments or payments, and return documentation promptly for processing.
  • Pick up equipment, and keep clean and used items properly separated during transport.
  • Clean, disinfect, test, and prepare returned equipment in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs on durable medical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, supplies, tools, and vehicle-stocked items.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and scheduled inventory counts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe company vehicle and follow required maintenance schedules.
  • Follow all company safety, infection-control, OSHA, Joint Commission, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support additional delivery, warehouse, and service projects as assigned.
