Laboratory Lead opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates for a Laboratory Lead position. The Laboratory Lead is responsible for assigned job description in addition to lead responsibilities. Responsible for daily operations of department, to include Specimen Collection, Specimen Processing, Referral Testing, In-house Testing and some Client Service functions . Know and understand all technical functions of the departments. Act as a resource for technical questions. Responsible for training of personnel, monitoring Quality of the department(s), and daily operations. Disseminate appropriate information to staff and ancillary departments, in a timely manner, using various forms of communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education :

  • Associate's or Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology.

Licensures, Certifications, Registrations:

  • National and State Licensure in Medical Laboratory Science (Clinical Laboratory Science)

Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Proficient in many applications of the computer system to include word documents and spread sheets.

Experience:

  • One year of professional laboratory experience in a formal laboratory setting.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
