Today, Blockstream is the leading Bitcoin company, providing cutting-edge infrastructure solutions for enterprises, institutions, and individual Bitcoin users. We develop industry-leading Bitcoin self-custody solutions, Bitcoin-based financial products, second-layer scaling technologies, and enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure.
We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Marketing to lead strategic growth and partnerships for Blockstream's Enterprise Business Unit. This role will drive opportunities via media user acquisition, ecosystem integrations, and retail distribution across global markets. You'll work closely with marketing, product, design, dev, and executive teams to forge and manage partnerships that support long-term product adoption and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep experience in consumer-facing Bitcoin or fintech products, a strong network in the crypto ecosystem, and a proven ability to identify and close high-impact business opportunities. This role requires a mix of strategy, execution, and relationship-building with partners ranging from exchanges and hardware resellers to wallet integrators and payment platforms.
This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with product leads, marketing and comms teams.
What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
  • Develop and own the enterprise go-to-market strategy across product lines, aligning marketing programs with business objectives.
  • Define and refine product positioning and messaging that differentiates Blockstream's enterprise offerings within fintech, financial services, and payments ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to understand and communicate technical value propositions to enterprise customers.
  • Partner with sales and business development to enable revenue growth, including demand generation, account-based marketing, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Lead strategic campaigns and thought leadership initiatives that establish Blockstream as a trusted partner for enterprise Bitcoin and blockchain adoption.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of marketing professionals and external partners/agencies.
  • Track and report on marketing performance, pipeline impact, and market feedback to continuously optimize programs.

What We Look For in You (Required Qualifications):
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise B2B or product marketing leadership roles.
  • Proven success leading enterprise go-to-market efforts from strategy through execution.
  • Strong background in technical marketing - able to grasp and communicate complex product capabilities clearly and credibly.
  • Prior experience in SaaS, fintech, banking, or payments companies at the enterprise level.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a technical discipline (MBA or equivalent experience a plus).
  • Familiarity with Bitcoin, blockchain, or crypto technologies and the broader digital asset ecosystem.

Work EnvironmentThis is a hybrid position, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in our Menlo Park office.
