Season: Beginning on or about 10/01/2026 through on or about 04/15/2027
Position Summary:
Responsible for performing Bistro duties such as short-order cook for limited menu, handle cash register at front counter when needed, deliver draft beer and limited cocktails, and be able to work with a changing schedule weekly over the five days per week which the Bistro is open, while under the direct supervision of the Bistro Co-Managers.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
  • Adheres to all Roberts Resorts policies, rules, and regulations in the execution of the job
  • Performs ongoing duties as prescribed Resort Manager and Bistro Manager
  • Ability to handle weekly orders of Alcohol and beverages as needed to assist Bistro Manager
  • Ability to handle weekly orders of all food supplies as needed for Bistro to assist Bistro Manager
  • Able to perform short-order cook orders in a timely manner for customers
  • Able to work front counter with register taking orders as needed
  • Able to deliver draft beer and small amount of pre-mixed cocktails to customers while following all Arizona Liquor Board Manager licensing training
  • Able to make sure all areas of cooking and serving are in clean, sanitary condition at all times
  • Able to provide Manager's Food Handlers Certificate
  • Able to assist Bistro Manager to maintain work schedules for all Bistro staff to maintain staff needed for schedule
  • Able to assist Bistro Manager to train all Bistro support staff in all areas of duties in the Bistro whether front or back duties
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with team members and guests
Strong organization, reading comprehension, and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure
Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using standard units of money, weight, volume, and distance
Ability to follow one- or two-step instructions and apply common-sense problem-solving skills
Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words, numbers, and standardized processes
Flexibility to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
One to two years of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication abilities required
Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations accurately
Experience working in structured or standardized work environments preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear
Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and overhead reaching required
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure during busy conditions
