What makes our Birth Center such a great place to work?
The Birth Center is a 44-bed unit at the St. Cloud Hospital and is the largest birthing center in Central Minnesota! We perform approximately 2,900 deliveries a year and are equipped to deliver outstanding care at every stage of pregnancy. It is our mission to make labor and delivery as safe as possible, preserving the health of mother and infant throughout the process. Patients cared for include infants from early to post term gestation and childbearing women and their families.
Our Registered Nurses (RN) can choose to work within an OB Specialty they are passionate about - whether that's low/high risk OB, postpartum including lactation support, and/or specialty newborn care. We also have 24-hour OB and anesthesia presence.
Current Opening
  • Full-time | 60-72 hours every two weeks | onsite
  • 12-hour day/night rotation | 7am-7:30pm & 7pm-7:30am
  • Every other weekend (Friday-Sunday) | holidays per unit policy
Pay and Benefits:
  • Pay based on experience and degree
    • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $42.86 per hour
    • Bachelor's in nursing starting at $44.34 per hour
    • Master's in nursing starting at $45.82 per hour
    • Pay range: $42.86 - $71.51 per hour
  • Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts
  • Up to $8,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates!

Qualifications
  • Graduate from a nursing program and current MN RN license required
  • BSN required within three years
  • 1-2 years of labor & delivery experience preferred
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required

*Hiring bonus requirements: To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
**Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
