    • Regularly taste and evaluate drinks for quality and consistency.
  • Leadership by Example
    • Demonstrate expert barista skills and warm, welcoming customer service.
    • Uphold company protocols (punctuality, dress code, service, etc.).
    • Confidently open or close the store and guide the team through smooth transitions.

  • Product Knowledge
    • Understand coffee offerings, roasting dates, and storage best practices.
    • Stay informed about food offerings and communicate allergen/ingredient info clearly.
    • Maintain "First In, First Out" systems to reduce waste and ensure freshness.
  • Communication
    • Share updates on promos, products, or procedures with the team clearly and consistently.
    • Offer kind, honest, and effective feedback to elevate team performance.
    • Collaborate with your Coffee Shop Lead to ensure everyone is in the loop.

What We're Looking For:
  • A passionate coffee lover who enjoys sharing knowledge and uplifting others.
  • A team player and leader who leads with professionalism and warmth.

  • A reliable presence on shift-someone your team can count on.
  • Excited to grow into greater leadership opportunities within Birch Coffee.
