VOLT is hiring Manufacturing Operators for a hands on role in a climate controlled biotech lab environment located in Austin, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a stable work history who want to grow in the biotechnology, manufacturing, or production industry.
While these positions begin as contract roles, strong performers will be considered for conversion into full-time employment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and lab instructions accurately
  • Perform routine lab and manufacturing tasks with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and precise work environment
  • Use computers and lab systems to document work and track materials
  • Operate small tools, materials, and lab equipment safely
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
  • Support continuous improvement of lab processes
  • Stand for extended periods and work 12.5?hour shifts
  • Lift materials safely within OSHA limitations
  • Work overtime when needed

Required Qualifications
  • Consistent work history with experience in fast paced environments such as:
    • Manufacturing
    • Warehouse
    • Production
    • Fulfillment
    • Assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to carefully follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, tracking systems, etc.)
  • Reliable communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).

Day and Night Shifts: 12.5 hours for 3 days/6.5 for 1 day (4x on/3x off)
Pay Rate: <$20.00 - $23.00 per hour> 10% shift diff
