We currently have a role available for a Pharma Protein Expression Biochemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Providing recombinant protein expression, expression QC, small scale purification for multiple projects, simultaneously, within the protein sciences group to provide high quality proteins to structural biology & enzymology.
  • Executing projects in an efficient manner, working within aggressive timelines.
  • Rapidly communicating/recording scientific results and insights to the team.
  • Preparing reports for internal and external purposes including regulatory submissions.
  • Participating in project-based and technical team meetings to identify and solve problems and communicating on-going work and progress.


Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • BS-Biochemistry, Molecular/Cellular Biology or a related field with minimum of 1-2 years of industrial lab experience outside of academia. MS in the same fields with 1 year of industrial lab experience outside of academia will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Works well both as a team and as an individual.
  • Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.


This is a day shift position (approx. 8a-5p local time).
