Bioprocess Manufacturing Technician

Ready to help manufacture life-changing medicines? ZING is hiring Bioprocess Manufacturing Technicians to support a leading biotechnology manufacturing facility in Oceanside, CA. This is a hands-on opportunity to work in a highly automated, cGMP-regulated production environment with the potential to convert to a permanent position.
What You'll Do
  • Operate automated manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment
  • Prepare, weigh, and dispense raw materials
  • Perform solution preparation, media and buffer make-up
  • Support cell culture, purification, and protein manufacturing processes
  • Operate bioreactors, fermenters, centrifuges, filtration, and chromatography systems
  • Clean, sterilize, and prepare manufacturing equipment
  • Complete manufacturing documentation while following cGMP and SOP requirements
  • Maintain a safe, compliant production environment
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree, Biotechnology Certificate, or Life Sciences/Engineering education preferred
  • Manufacturing, biotech, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or GMP experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working with computers and automated systems
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to work any assigned shift, overtime, and weekends as needed
  • Able to stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in full cleanroom PPE, including gowning and steel toe boots
Schedule
Onboarding
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 3 to 4 weeks of paid training

Available Manufacturing Shifts (10 Hours)
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
    • Sunday to Wednesday
    • Wednesday to Saturday
  • Swing Shift: 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM
    • Sunday to Wednesday
    • Wednesday to Saturday

Open availability is strongly preferred.
Pay & Benefits
  • $22.00/hour
  • Overtime pay after 8 hours where applicable
  • Shift differential for eligible swing shifts
  • Contract position with potential for permanent hire
