At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are seeking a Life Sciences Business Development professional to join our Healthcare and Life Sciences Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) Go to Market (GTM) organization. In this role, you will help execute our GTM strategy for global HCLS customers and partners. As a business development specialist, you will be at the forefront of helping customers succeed using AWS technologies, identifying business opportunities and driving adoption of our HCLS AI solutions.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop a strong technical understanding of AWS services to effectively communicate value propositions to diagnostics, pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and clinical research organizations.
- Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, solutions architecture, and other teams to deliver compelling business and technical proposals tailored to genomics, precision medicine, and clinical diagnostics applications.
- Qualify and manage high-potential opportunities, guiding customers through the sales cycle and addressing technical objections specific to healthcare data security, regulatory compliance, and bioinformatics workflows.
- Build and expand the HealthOmics and Clinical Diagnostics services relationships by engaging with key systems integrators and industry partners in the life sciences sector.
- Contribute to revenue growth and service adoption to meet program revenue and pipeline targets in the healthcare and life sciences vertical.
- Support the execution of go-to-market models that cover our key segments and customers in the genomics, clinical diagnostics, and personalized medicine fields.
- Interface with customers at the VP and Director level, including roles such as VP of Operations, Director of Bioinformatics, and Head of Clinical Systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including Sales, Business Development, Product, Finance, Marketing, Training, Operations and Legal, with a focus on healthcare and life sciences industry requirements.
