The Manufacturing Associate I is responsible for executing basic machine operation skills and maintaining flexibility in responding to changing production schedules. Manufacturing Associates actively participate in daily management, sustaining safety and quality in all actions, while adhering to detailed work instructions. Associates in this role are expected to utilize effective problem-solving skills and maintain professional communications to support the goals of the manufacturing facility.

This position reports to the key operations team located in Timonium, MD and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work closely within an Operations team to support customers/Drive continuous improvement and model Core Behaviors

  • Interface with Quality and Safety functions within the plant

  • Read, write and understand Standard Operating Procedures and follow standard work, including conducting daily 5S activities within a value stream to ensure safe work conditions, along with simple statements and perform basic mathematical tasks to complete an hourly scorecard

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 1+ years of experience in heavy/industrial manufacturing environment/Ability to read, write and communicate

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push and pull for long periods of time. Able to climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience with:

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • PC skills

  • Quality Inspection

C-Shift hours will be 7:00am-7:00pm, Thursday - Saturday, and every other Wednesday.

The hourly range for this role is $18.75/hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
