Job description

Overview:

The Sr. Analyst, Commercial Operations reports directly to the Sr. Director of Commercial Operations and plays a key role in developing and maintaining the foundational infrastructure needed to support commercial analytics, reporting, processes, and cross functional alignment. As a key architect of the Commercial Operations function, this role helps shape how Kuros uses data, process, and tools to drive revenue growth, operational rigor, and cross functional alignment as the organization continues to scale and mature strategically. This role supports Kuros' continued revenue growth and market expansion by strengthening operational discipline, enabling data driven decision making, and influencing leadership through the strategies, insights, and governance dev eloped in partnership with key stakeholders. In this role, the Sr. Analyst partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Market Access, and Supply Chain to ensure commercial scalability and operational excellence. Responsibilities include owning core analytical and operational functions, driving process improvements, and building repeatable, structured commercial workflows. The role serves as a strategic partner and right hand to the Sr. Director of Commercial Operations, helping to advance the commercial operations function as Kuros evolves into a more process oriented and strategically aligned enterprise. This is a full-time/hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics, Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Maintain and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.) to provide regular insights on pipeline, sales performance, quota attainment, conversion rates, win/loss, funnel analysis, churn, and revenue mix.
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses to support leadership decisions, e.g. scenario modeling, territory growth, pricing sensitivity, competitor benchmarking.
  • Help design and run monthly/quarterly business reviews (CPRs), forecasting reviews, pipeline reviews; prepare materials, variance analyses, and insights.
  • Track key sales health metrics, identify trends, outliers, and areas of risk/opportunity.
  • Assist in forecasting: prepare inputs, build models, support consensus building among stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Operations)

Process, Systems & Tooling

  • Be hands-on in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing CRM (e.g. AcuityMD) data quality, process flows, validation rules, and automation.
  • Support sales operations and contracting enablement: quoting tools, CPQ, contract management systems, order to cash handoffs, discounting workflows.
  • Partner with Corporate IT or external vendors to deploy new tools, integrate data sources, and automate recurring tasks (eg Power BI).
  • Work with Sr Director to implement process-improvement efforts with cross-functional teams to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce cycle times, ensure alignment from lead → order → fulfillment.

Commercial Strategy & Execution Support

  • Provide input on territory design, quota setting, incentive modeling, and sales capacity planning.
  • Support go-to-market launches (new products or markets), including market sizing, adoption modeling, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with other commercial teams on competitive intelligence, segmentation, and targeting.
  • Act as liaison between Sales / Account teams and internal support (Finance, Operations, Legal) on operational or commercial escalations.

Change Management, Training & Governance

  • Drive adoption of new processes and systems via training, communications, and reinforcement.
  • Monitor compliance to defined commercial policies, sales governance, discounting rules, etc.
  • Assist in setting up commercial operating rhythms: weekly pipeline reviews, deal reviews, forecast cadence, alignment meetings.
  • Contribute to building the culture of data-driven decision making across commercial teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree (Business, Economics, Finance, or related
  • Experience:
    • ~3–6 years of experience in sales operations, commercial operations, analytics, or related role — ideally in medical devices, biotech, diagnostics, or regulated healthcare markets
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable working with large datasets
    • Expert-level Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, advanced formulas)
    • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, etc.) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical insights into business action, present to leadership
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset
    • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple stakeholder requests, and thrive in ambiguity
    • Proficiency with advanced analytics (predictive modeling, statistical methods) preferred
    • Experience with SQL, Artificial Intelligence, Python, etc. preferred
    • Experience with AcuityMD platform, quoting systems, contract management systems preferred
