Job Overview:
Pay Range: $25.00hr - $30.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 1–5 years of relevant experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous approach to work and a high standard for quality.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, open, and triage incoming sample shipments, directing them to the appropriate testing locations.
- Perform sample accessioning and conduct quality control checks on demographic data entry to ensure accuracy.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding held or rejected samples, resolving issues promptly.
- Execute sample labeling and perform final quality control checks to verify labeling accuracy.
- Image stained slides returned from Pathology, ensuring all deliverables are met within established timelines.
- Manage internal and client requests, including global sample shipments, while maintaining rigorous chain of custody standards.
- Oversee the team inbox to ensure all requests are tracked and completed.
- Lead and drive deliverables for assigned process improvement workstreams within the BioSample Management Group.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
