Job Overview:

Pay Range: $25.00hr - $30.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 1–5 years of relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous approach to work and a high standard for quality.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, open, and triage incoming sample shipments, directing them to the appropriate testing locations.
  • Perform sample accessioning and conduct quality control checks on demographic data entry to ensure accuracy.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding held or rejected samples, resolving issues promptly.
  • Execute sample labeling and perform final quality control checks to verify labeling accuracy.
  • Image stained slides returned from Pathology, ensuring all deliverables are met within established timelines.
  • Manage internal and client requests, including global sample shipments, while maintaining rigorous chain of custody standards.
  • Oversee the team inbox to ensure all requests are tracked and completed.
  • Lead and drive deliverables for assigned process improvement workstreams within the BioSample Management Group.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
