Job description

The University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery is hiring a temporary Scientific Writer to assist in the lab of Dr. Pravat Mandal.
The candidate must have experience in scientific writing and be highly skilled in documentation. This position edits and assists with university grant applications and submissions, coordinates timelines and deadlines and ensures materials adhere to all applicable University and sponsor policies, ensures all materials, as appropriate, comply with university and sponsor policies and procedures. This person should be efficient in MS word, power point and Excel and the operation of the literature search package ENDnote program. Familiarity with graphics package (biorender etc.) is a requirement.
This position will be 10-12 hours weekly.
Minimum education to be considered for this position is a master's degree in a related field.
