Emplify Health is hiring for a Biomedical Technician, Intern!

The Biomedical Technician Intern is an entry-level role designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience in the healthcare technology field. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, the intern will assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.

This role provides exposure to medical device systems, clinical environments, and healthcare IT applications, while building foundational technical and problem-solving skills that support safe, high-quality patient care.

What's in It for You?

  • Flexible Schedule:Work 20-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00am-5:00pm.

  • Location:Main Campus, La Crosse, WI

  • Pay:Earn $21.00

  • Duration: Temporary summer internship June through August 2026.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education:Currently pursuing a Bachelors and/ or Associate of Applied Science Degree from a Biomedical Electronics Program/accredited institution, ora degree or certificate of equivalence through military/technical education in biomedical/electronics/engineering

  • Experience: Basic understanding of electronics, troubleshooting, or mechanical systems

  • Strong interest in medical equipment and healthcare technology

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
