Sr. Staff Scientist

Position Title: Sr. Staff Scientist

Location: Maywood-Health Sciences Campus, Loyola University Chicago

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per annum

Open Date: 04/23/2025

Responsibilities
  • Gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of pharmacovigilance, including safety data analytics, literature surveillance, and risk‑management strategy & writing.
  • Support project teams to advance clinical development programs.
  • Successfully complete selected didactic courses.
  • Participate in various research projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree (MD or PhD).
  • Field of study in molecular biology, biology, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology, or related biomedical sciences.
  • Minimum 2‑5 years of postdoctoral scientific training.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • PhD required, with ability to learn safety data analytics, perform literature reviews, strategize and write, and support team projects to advance clinical and research development programs.
