In order to reinforce our growth plans in North America, Marposs Corporation has an opening for a Sales Engineer - Northeast Territory
Reporting to the Machine Tool Division Manager, the position will have account responsibility for major machine tool probing and monitoring products/systems manufacturers and distributors in Northeastern US.
Responsibilities
  • Sells CNC-related solutions including precision measurement, gauging, and process control equipment, requiring strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, automation, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Calls management representatives, such as engineers, technical personnel, and management at commercial, industrial, and other establishments in an attempt to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products offered
  • Provides technical advice on company products and services, modifications, applications, design, and other problems
  • Prepares sales related reports and provides data for forecasting sales, competition, and market conditions
  • Provides survey information on products, competition, and specific topics
  • Conducts special promotions on specific products.
What we are looking for
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering
  • Previous experience with CNC programming, PLC, and schematics with respect to CNC and Machine Tool Industry preferred
  • 5-7 years' experience in sales for the Manufacturing Industry
  • Excellent sales, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solver with hands-on experience
  • Extensive travel is required.
  • A good driving record is essential.
