Job description

Manager of Biomedical Technical Services

Innovative Renal Care is seeking a Manager of Biomedical Technical Services to lead biomedical operations across multiple dialysis clinics. This role is ideal for an experienced dialysis biomedical leader who excels at coaching teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting safe, reliable clinic operations.

The manager oversees biomedical staff development, equipment performance, water treatment systems, and multi-site readiness. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, advanced dialysis technical knowledge, and the ability to support clinics with varying operational needs.

This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on business needs. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support biomedical and facility technical staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Ensure consistent implementation of technical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards across assigned clinics
  • Partner with Clinic Managers, Medical Directors, and Biomedical Technical Services leadership to address biomedical operations and facility needs
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, water treatment system performance, and compliance with AAMI, state, and federal regulations
  • Monitor repair costs, track parts usage, and support cost-efficient technical operations
  • Conduct technical audits and support internal/external surveys (CMS, OSHA, Life Safety, etc.)
  • Coordinate technical coverage during staffing gaps and ensure continuity of operations
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of dialysis machines, RO systems, and related equipment
  • Support De Novo builds, expansions, acquisitions, and facility validations
  • Maintain accurate reporting, including AAMI water testing, QAPI documentation, and inventory reports
Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of technical and management experience in dialysis, including dialysis machine maintenance and water treatment systems
  • Familiarity with dialysis regulatory and survey processes
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred:

  • 4–6 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site biomedical operations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
