Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Biology Department invites applications for adjunct faculty positions for the 2025-2026 academic year. These part-time positions become available in Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 for a variety of non-major Biology courses, including in general biology, genetics, environmental dynamics, and anatomy & physiology.

The ability to teach in-person on-campus is expected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field

  • Experience and ability to positively interact with a diverse campus community.

  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in Biology or related field

  • College-level teaching experience is desirable.

Scheduled weekly hours vary depending on class contract load. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis.
