Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant Bioinformatics to support genomics and laboratory testing initiatives for our client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Bioinformatics, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), genomics data analysis, and bioinformatics pipeline development. This role requires collaboration with laboratory scientists, technical teams, and business stakeholders to develop scalable bioinformatics solutions and improve laboratory workflows.

The consultant will be responsible for processing and analyzing sequencing data, developing and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines, validating biological datasets, troubleshooting analytical issues, and supporting consulting-led client engagements.

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 3 days per week in San Diego, CA, and travel is mandatory.

Required Skills

Must Have

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Genetics, Computational Biology, or related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of Bioinformatics experience
