Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Physical Therapist, you will perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans and set goals for treatment.  

Every day you will communicate the patients progress and discharge recommendations to the interdisciplinary team.  

To be successful in this role, you will oversee the provision of service by technicians and assistants as required. This position requires providing care/service to an acutely ill through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served. 

  • Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
  • Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
  • Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
  • Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
  • Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
  • Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
  • Establishes presence of consent prior to treatment/procedures.

  • Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • CA Physical Therapist license
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
