Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for meeting the needs of guests and team members by ensuring the cleanliness of Shooting Star. In all interactions, the position is responsible for providing STAR Experience to guests and fellow team members a first priority.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Shooting Star Casino team members will always deliver excellent guest service to our guests and fellow co-workers.

Performs general custodial services to clean and maintain the entire casino, hotel, Manitok Mall common areas, and other areas when called for (i.e.: The Golden Eagle Bingo Lodge) to provide a sanitary environment for guests and Team Members of Shooting Star.
  • Cleans, polishes, and sanitizes all ceilings, windows, walls, floors, fixtures, slot machine bases, public restrooms, etc.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, lounges, stairwells, corridors, elevators, locker rooms, etc.
  • Empties and cleans waste containers, disposes of trash and cardboard.
  • Refers to Daily and Major Book check-off lists for additional duties.

Performs industrial custodial services cleaning floors and furniture of the entire casino, hotel, Manitok Mall common areas, and other areas. (i.e.: The Golden Eagle Bingo Lodge) to provide a sanitary environment for guests and Team Members of Shooting Star.
  • Operates industrial cleaning equipment (i.e.: extractors, buffers, man lifts, etc.).
  • Extracts carpeted areas and upholstered furniture.
  • Performs strip and seal procedures on hard floors using equipment and chemicals.
  • Notifies shift lead of necessary repairs need for equipment and facility.

Maintain all safety rules and regulations in according to the Shooting Star policy and procedures.
  • Knowledge of what SDS (Safety Data Sheets) are and where they are located.
  • Maintain that the proper personal protective equipment is utilized at all times to include but not limited to gloves, eye/ear protection, shoes, harness/belts, etc.

Listens and responds to guest concerns to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Answers guest's questions or refers guests to the appropriate department.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of 3 months related experience and/or training. Prefer 6 months related experience.
Certificates, Licenses & Designations
Must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Tribal State Compact for Gaming.
