Job description

At Sheridan Minnesota, your work doesnโ€™t disappear into a spreadsheetโ€”it becomes books, catalogs, and printed materials people use every day. If youโ€™ve worked with machines, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in quality, weโ€™ll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment.

This is a 1st shift position - working Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3PM with potential for overtime hours.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders.)
  • Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
  • Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
  • Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problemโ€”weโ€™ll train you.
Weโ€™re looking for people who:

  • Are at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
  • Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
  • Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
  • Take pride in doing quality work
  • Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Itโ€™s a plus if you have:

  • Print, bindery, or finishing experience
  • Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

  • Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.
  • On your feet for most of the shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
