General Description:
The Billing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all billable activities within the organization. This position is critical to maintaining financial accuracy by updating billing trackers, auditing Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and collaborating with department supervisors to capture all billable hours, materials, and assessorial charges. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong coordination with the Finance Billing Department to ensure all billing categories-VAS, SP, Retail, Materials, and Storage-are accurately captured and recorded.
Requirements
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Daily Billing Oversight: Ensure all billable activities are captured and recorded daily.
  • Billing Tracker Management: Update and maintain the billing tracker daily for accuracy and completeness.
  • MSA Auditing: Audit all Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to ensure correct billing practices.
  • Collaboration with Departments: Work with department supervisors to capture billable hours, materials, and assessorial charges.
  • Finance Coordination: Partner with the Finance Billing Department to audit and verify billing for VAS, SP, Retail, Materials, and Storage.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of all billable activities for reference and auditing purposes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and enhance accuracy.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Discover insights and communicate to leadership on additional revenue gains.

Job Qualifications Mandatory:
  1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  2. 3+ years of experience in billing, finance, or a related field, preferably in a supervisory role.
  3. Strong knowledge of billing practices, financial audits, and record-keeping.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
  6. Strong communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
