Job Description

As a Billing Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing process. You will be responsible for preparing, validating, and analyzing customer invoices to ensure clients are billed accurately in accordance with contractual agreements and the services provided.

You will investigate and resolve billing discrepancies related to license count changes, subscription plan modifications, and the addition of new services. Working closely with the Sales, Support, and Finance teams, you will help maintain a billing process that is aligned with customer deployments, reliable, and scalable through automation.

Reporting to the Billing Operations & Process Excellence Lead, you will join a multidisciplinary team whose mission is to support business operations and contribute to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, validate, and issue invoices in accordance with contractual agreements;
  • Perform the necessary follow-ups to ensure complete and timely billing;
  • Analyze customer accounts and identify billing discrepancies;
  • Resolve billing issues and document corrective actions;
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure billing is aligned and automation-friendly;
  • Work with the Support and Collections teams to complete required billing corrections;
  • Contribute to improving billing data quality and process automation;
  • Assist with billing-related projects;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • 1–3 years of relevant billing experience;
  • Experience with recurring billing or SaaS (asset);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills;
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills;
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets;
  • Bilingual French and English, both spoken and written;
  • Knowledge of Sage Intacct and Salesforce (asset).

Working conditions:

  • Contract: Permanent, full-time (40h/week)

  • Working mode: Hybrid

    • 2-3 days at the office

    • Candidates must reside in the province of Quebec.
