Senior Salesforce CPQ & Billing Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA / Surrounding Areas-Local Candidate required 
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Salesforce CPQ & Billing Developer on behalf of our client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong, recent hands-on experience developing and customizing Salesforce CPQ & Billing solutions using Apex. This is a highly technical builder/developer role focused on scalable custom development, billing automation, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize Salesforce CPQ & Billing solutions using Apex.

  • Build scalable Apex solutions including triggers, Batch Apex, and Queueable Apex.

  • Design and implement complex billing and usage/consumption automation.

  • Develop custom REST integrations supporting high-volume data.

  • Build solutions that are efficient, scalable, and compliant with Salesforce governor limits.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support billing, invoicing, and external-system integrations.

  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing Salesforce CPQ & Billing functionality.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of recent, hands-on Salesforce CPQ & Billing development experience.

  • Strong custom Apex development experience, including triggers, Batch Apex, and Queueable Apex.

  • Experience working with complex billing logic or usage/consumption-based billing.

  • Experience with prepaid balances, overage true-ups, or comparable custom billing automation.

  • Strong experience developing custom REST integrations with high-volume data.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices and governor limits.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP, ERP, or other external systems.

  • Knowledge of idempotency and GL mapping concepts.

  • Experience with PO-based invoice routing.

  • Experience designing high-volume staging objects and batch-processing solutions.

  • Strong understanding of account hierarchies and billing processes.

Work Arrangement
  • Candidates should be located in Sunnyvale, CA or surrounding areas and available for an onsite final interview.
