Job description

We are actively seeking a driven and client-focused Associate Attorney to join our growing Personal Injury team. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from intake through resolution, including both pre-litigation and litigation, making it ideal for an attorney who wants hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of a case.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent results and client service.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a caseload from intake through settlement or trial
  • Handle all aspects of pre-litigation, including:
    • Meeting with clients
    • Client communication and case evaluation
    • Reviewing and understanding medical records and bills
    • Negotiating with insurance adjusters
  • Transition and manage cases into litigation, including:
    • Drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery
    • Taking and defending depositions
    • Attending hearings, mediations, and court appearances
    • Preparing cases for trial
  • Develop case strategies to maximize client recovery
  • Work closely with paralegals, and support staff
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the process

What We’re Looking For

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar
  • Experience in personal injury (pre-litigation and/or litigation preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
