As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Addiction Focused at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic services in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intakes and assessments to gather patient information, evaluate mental health diagnoses, and develop treatment plans with ongoing documentation.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for patients in an outpatient addiction setting, implementing personalized plans with measurable outcomes and providing therapy, case management, and co-occurring mental health and substance use support.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve their goals while providing excellent customer service and collaborating with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans that support the community mission.
  • Active participation and responsibility in building, growing, and maintaining caseload to meet agreed upon weekly billable expectations.
  • Participate in clinical consultations, staff meetings, and trainings to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in accordance with 245G and 1115 Demonstration Waiver requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) by completing session documentation, billing, prior authorizations, and insurance-related tasks within 24 hours while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Candidates will have clinical licensure or be on licensure track for:
    • MN: LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP
  • Applicants with a dual licensure of a LADC are preferred but not required.
    • If LADC licensure applies, Licensed Drug & Alcohol Counselor (LADC) must have an active and unrestricted license in Minnesota or an ADC-T.
  • Must have identified substance use and/or addiction competencies
  • Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes with the ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems.

Compensation: This is an exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $75,000 - $80,000 annually for fully licensed providers. Total earnings for this position will range from $68,000 - $70,000 for pre-licensed providers.

*Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE.
