About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  • Process and submit medical claims to insurance carriers accurately and in a timely manner
  • Review and verify patient billing information, insurance eligibility, and authorizations
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and manage accounts receivable
  • Post payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts
  • Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries, balances, and payment plans
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and billing guidelines
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to resolve coding and documentation discrepancies
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in medical billing, coding, or a related healthcare administrative role
