A leading Japanese food manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with 4 years of experience in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting functions and supports daily operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Main Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries in a timely and accurate manner Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations Assist in the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making Provide support during internal and external audits Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis Perform profitability analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Other duties may be assigned as needed.
