Job description


International bank seems a bilingual Japanese Operations Analyst at Structured Finance Department which is responsible for originating, booking and monitoring credit facilities for both bilateral and syndicated loan transactions. SFD focuses on building and monitoring portfolio assets in 4 main product areas: Project Finance, Trade and Commodity Finance, Aviation Finance, and Real Estate.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs business reviewof credit documentation, regulatory compliance review and booking of newinvestments and for amendments or periodic review.
  • Ensures compliance andoperational requirements are satisfied before closing and for amendments.
  • Coordinates withinternal and third parties to effect bookings, amendments and funding.
  • Supports Credit Analystswith Branch and Head Office monitoring and reporting requirements.
  • Tracks creditdocumentation and other customer reporting requirements for timelyreceipt.
  • Performs agent function,including communicating with customers and other lenders for loanservicing and distribution of documents.
  • Maintains relatedsystems, reports, credit files and websites as well as assigns applicationnumbers and records approvals.
  • Performs other dutiesand responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Excellent oral andwritten communication skills. Fluent in Japanese required.
  • Bachelor's degree inFinance, Economics or related field with at least 3 years of relatedexperience.
  • 2+ years of bankingexperience preferred.
  • General knowledge of bankingprinciples and/or loan markets.
  • Excellent organizationskills and detail oriented.
  • Good interpersonalskills for team-oriented environment.
  • Advanced in Microsoft365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access).
