Job description


Position Summary
A global financial institution is seeking a bilingual Research Assistant to support the Research Team in preparing and distributing English-language research reports. The role involves formatting reports, reviewing translated materials, and coordinating with global teams to ensure timely publication.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and format research reports using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Review translated materials for accuracy, consistency, and formatting
  • Distribute stock reports, newsletters, and other research publications through internal systems
  • Coordinate with analysts, translators, and global teams to meet deadlines
  • Ensure publications comply with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • Business-level Japanese and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong skills in translation, editing, and proofreading
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

    • Preferred:
    • Experience working with Japanese companies or in a finance-related field
    • Familiarity with financial or accounting terminology

    Benefits
    Pay: $30-$40/hour (depending on experience)
